DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the 250th anniversary of our independence with us on Saturday\, July 4th! The parade will begin lining up behind the Gillespie County Courthouse at 8:00 a.m. The parade proceeds east on Main Street to the intersection of Main and Washington Street. It will U-turn there and go west to Bowie Street. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or park a vehicle along the route to enjoy the parade. Following the Main Street Parade\, join us at Marktplatz for a Patriotic Program and Concert by Bill Smallwood.
