Description
Everyone is warmly invited to gather with friends and neighbors at the Historic Luckenbach Schoolhouse on Thursday, August 13 at 6:30 PM. The doors will open at 6:00. Guests are encouraged to share their favorite dish at the potluck supper—dinnerware, utensils, and water will be available.
A temporary exhibition highlighting the evolution of the United States flag from the founding of our great nation to the present will be premiered in the classrooms.
Following dinner, attendees are welcome to participate in a short business meeting, which will lead into an engaging report from Ashley Morris, Emergency Management Coordinator for Fredericksburg and Gillespie County. Morris’s timely presentation, “Let’s Prepare Together”, will provide critical emergency updates and information about disaster preparedness and emergency response efforts across Gillespie County. FBGCEM focuses its work on local disaster planning, response, recovery, and mitigation.
