Willow City School Open House

Description

Visitors can tour the historic School built in 1905 and learn about the history of the property and area

from community residents and former Willow City School students volunteering as docents.

The theme for the day is activities recognizing March as Texas History Month, a time to fly the Texas

flag and celebrate our State’s unique history. Recognizing the importance of Texas history, in June

2003, the State of Texas Legislature declared March 1-31 of every year as Texas History Month.

Come learn about the area, historic former rural school and old-time Texas education in the country.
