The Light the Night Christmas Parade and AfterGlow is proudly presented by H-E-B and produced by the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce.

For more than 30 years, this beloved illuminated night parade has brought holiday magic to Fredericksburg’s historic Main Street. Held annually on the first Friday of December at 6:30 p.m., the parade travels between Washington and Bowie Streets, delighting thousands of spectators along the route.

Grab your lawn chairs and claim your favorite viewing spot—or enjoy the show from reserved bleacher seating (limited paid seats available for $40/each) in front of the library.

Presented by H-E-B, this Fredericksburg Chamber signature event features more than 150 dazzling floats, all celebrating the spirit and charm of our community. After the parade, the festivities continue at AfterGlow, located on Marktplatz, with food and beverage vendors, holiday music, and free photos with Santa at Peppermint Platz.
