VEI is looking for a motivated CAD Designer / CAD Technician to join our growing team.

This position works closely with our engineering and project teams to help turn ideas and field information into accurate, professional plans and designs.

Full-Time 

Monday-Friday

8am - 5pm

Responsibilities:

- Create and update CAD drawings and layouts

- Assist with project plans and technical documents

- Work with engineers and project managers to keep projects moving

- Make revisions based on field notes and design updates

- Help organize and maintain project files

- Support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

- At least ONE YEAR of AutoCAD experience

- Local to the Hill Country area as this is an in-office, Full Time position at the Fredericksburg location

- Strong attention to detail

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines

- Civil 3D experience is a plus

- Previous CAD or drafting experience preferred
