SKYE Texas Hill Country Resort is seeking a reliable, experienced, and friendly full-time Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain our cabins, pods, and public areas, ensuring a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest. Your positive attitude, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality will play a key role in creating memorable Texas Hill Country experiences. Responsibilities:

Cabin, Pod, and Facility Care

• Clean and maintain guest cabins, pods, and public areas to ensure a safe, welcoming, and high-quality environment.
• Replace and replenish linens, towels, and guest amenities, and prepare linens for incoming guests.
• Dust, polish, and clean furniture, fixtures, carpets, rugs, draperies, upholstery, windows, walls, and ceilings.
• Maintain outdoor areas, including driveways, walkways, and pool surroundings.

Organization and Safety

• Keep housekeeping carts and storage areas organized, clean, and fully stocked.
• Empty trash and transport waste and recyclables to designated disposal areas.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to protect guests, staff, and property.

Teamwork and Professionalism

• Report maintenance issues, damages, missing items, or safety concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently.
• Respond to guest requests and assist during emergencies in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain punctuality, professional appearance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support resort operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). At least 1 full year experience in professional housekeeping and stable work history is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Must be prepared to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Physical Activities: Ability to regularly walk, stand or stoop.
• Lifting Requirements: Able to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Environment Conditions: Able to work comfortably in outdoor environment.
