About RV EMT

RV EMT is a mobile RV repair and service company serving customers in Fredericksburg, TX and surrounding areas. Our technicians travel directly to customers to handle repairs, installations, and maintenance on-site. In addition to our mobile service operation, we run an office, warehouse, and RV parts store. Our small, skilled team takes pride in quality work and honest service, and we are looking for a dependable, hard-working individual to join us in a support capacity.

Position Overview

The Service and Warehouse Assistant works alongside our RV technicians both in the field and at our warehouse and parts store. You will assist with tasks that require an extra set of hands, keep our warehouse and parts store organized and running smoothly, and handle general support work that frees our technicians to focus on skilled repair work. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical, hands-on work and wants to learn the RV industry from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

• Travel with technicians to customer locations to assist with 2-person jobs, including lifting and positioning rooftop AC units, moving refrigerators, washers, and other large appliances during installs or repairs.
• Assist with roof patches and reseals, including surface prep, material handling, and cleanup.
• Help with light carpentry and finish work at customer sites as directed by the lead technician.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and parts store: sweeping, tidying, stocking shelves, and general upkeep.
• Pull and stage parts and supplies for upcoming jobs to keep technicians moving efficiently.
• Assist with receiving, loading, and unloading inventory and equipment at the warehouse.
• Support the parts store with general tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting technique and use of personal protective equipment.
• Perform other general support tasks as directed.

What We’re Looking For

• Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs regularly, including overhead.
• Comfortable working at heights (some tasks involve climbing onto RV roofs).
• Reliable and punctual: our techs depend on you to show up.
• Willingness to follow directions and take instruction from lead technicians.
• Basic familiarity with hand tools and a willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Preferred (Not Required)

• Prior experience in construction, general labor, warehouse, appliance delivery, or a similar hands-on role.
• Basic carpentry or home improvement skills.
• Interest in learning RV repair and eventually growing into a technician role.

Schedule & Compensation

• Hours: Part or Full Time, approximately 3 - 5 days per week
• Schedule: Days/hours will be set in advance on a consistent weekly basis
