Formando Winery is seeking a hospitality-focused Tasting Room Supervisor to lead

daily front-of-house operations and support an exceptional guest experience. This

position works closely with the Operations Manager to oversee service flow, staff

performance, wine education, and day-to-day tasting room operations.

The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, guest-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced

hospitality environment while leading by example on the floor.

Compensation

$24–$30/hr

Key Responsibilities

● Deliver and maintain exceptional hospitality and service standards.

● Ensure guests feel welcomed, informed, and cared for throughout their visit.

● Supervise daily tasting room operations and lead floor execution during service.

● Serve as the primary manager on duty when the Operations Manager is

unavailable.

● Primarily responsible for opening and closing procedures.

● Support staffing, shift coverage, training, and team development.

● Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, urgency, and a positive

attitude.

● Support staff during busy shifts, weekends, and special events.

● Ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards are maintained

throughout guest areas.

● Assist with execution of wine club events, private events, live music, and special

programming.

● Support event setup, service, and breakdown while ensuring a seamless guest

experience.

● Handle guest concerns professionally and assist with maintaining service

standards.

● Support compliance with company policies, TABC regulations, and safety

standards.

● Communicate operational, facility, and maintenance needs to management.

● Perform other duties as assigned to support winery operations and guest

experience.

Qualifications

● 2+ years of hospitality, tasting room, restaurant, or retail leadership experience

preferred.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

● Wine knowledge preferred but not required.


● Ability to work weekends, holidays, and events.

● Competitive hourly compensation based on experience
