VFW Post 7105 invites the community to help celebrate the 251 st Birthday of the U. S. Army and to

commemorate Flag Day. The event will be held at VFW Post 7105 located at 710 S. Washington

Street in Fredericksburg on Saturday June 13 th at 11 am.

Following the short ceremony there will be a cake cutting to celebrate the 251 st birthday of the U.

S. Army. The U.S. Army was founded on 14 June 1775, when the Continental Congress authorized

enlistment of expert riflemen to serve the United Colonies for one year.
