The Texas Exes Fredericksburg Chapter’s monthly Thirsty Thursday will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 5:00 pm at The Barn at Rock House, located at 197 Rock House Drive, off Highway 87 North (about a mile from the US Post Office). The business meeting will address plans for the city of Fredericksburg’s 4 th of July parade and the Chapter’s float decoration schedule. Information will be shared about options for riding or walking with the UT Tower during the parade as well as a look ahead to the 2027 parade. Since July marks the beginning of a new Chapter year, information will be shared about the Chapter charter renewal process and planned activities for the summer and fall including football game watches. The 2025-2026 Year in Review will be presented showing the multitude of activities in which the Chapter engaged during the prior year. Member news will be shared and July birthdays will be celebrated. The Barn at Rock House offers a full bar in a lovely country setting, plus popcorn, pretzels and pizzas. Shuffleboard and pool are available before and after the business meeting, and multiple TVs feature a variety of sports events. All current and former students and their families and all friends of the University of Texas at Austin are encouraged to attend Thirsty Thursday and get your Hook ‘Em on!
