FREDERICKSBURG, Texas (May 7, 2026) – The Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Fredericksburg High School Culinary Program to help promote and facilitate ticket sales for the upcoming Farm to Table Dinner on Friday, May 15, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the John Wm. Klein Meeting Room at Marktplatz. The event, organized and executed by FHS culinary students and instructors, will showcase student talent while raising funds to support the program.
The meal is being prepared entirely by the students and will feature a greenhouse-grown salad, freshly made sourdough and jalapeño cheddar bread, homegrown beef and pork served with chimichurri and chipotle raspberry sauces, greenhouse potatoes, green beans, squash casserole and jalapeño dip.
Guests will also enjoy a walking dessert table featuring 15 creative dessert options crafted by the students. The evening will include silent auction items and a raffle, with proceeds benefiting the program.
“We are proud to support the Fredericksburg High School Culinary Program and the next generation of culinary professionals,” said Jim Mikula, President and CEO of the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce. “When our community shows up for events like this, we’re investing directly in hands-on education and real-world skills for our students.
