Fredericksburg Chamber to Host March Leaders Breakfast Focused on Development & Growth

FREDERICKSBURG, Texas (March 10, 2026) – The Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce will kick off its 2026 Leaders Breakfast Series with a timely discussion on development and growth in the Fredericksburg community. The March Leaders Breakfast will take place at the Admiral Nimitz Ballroom on Wednesday March 25th and will feature updates from city and county leadership.

The Leaders Breakfast Series is designed to bring business and community members together to learn about important local issues and hear directly from leaders who can provide insight and updates on topics shaping the future of Fredericksburg and Gillespie County.

Featured speakers for the March event include Cliff Cross, AICP, Director of Development Services for the City of Fredericksburg, and Melissa Eckert, PE, CFM, Gillespie County Engineer. During the program, attendees will hear presentations from both the city and county and have the opportunity to ask questions about development and growth in the region.

The event begins at 8:00 AM with a light breakfast and coffee. Presentations and discussion will take place from 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM. 

“The Fredericksburg area continues to experience significant growth, and it’s important that our business and community leaders stay informed,” said Jim Mikula, President/CEO of the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce. “Events like our Leaders Breakfast provide a valuable opportunity to hear directly from local officials, ask questions, and better understand the issues impacting our community.”

Additional Leaders Breakfast events are scheduled throughout the year:

• June 3, 2026 — Fire, EMS, Police & Sheriff
• September 9, 2026 — State of the City
• November 11, 2026 — Tourism

The June, September, and November breakfasts will be held at the conference center at Inn on Barons Creek. Community members and business leaders are encouraged to attend and participate in these informative discussions.

Registration is $20 per person for Chamber members and $30 for non-members. Chamber members who still have membership points available are encouraged to utilize those points when registering.
