Vendor Applications Now Open for Inaugural Lincoln Street Maker’s Market

FREDERICKSBURG, Texas (March 27, 2026) – The Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce is now accepting vendor applications for the inaugural Lincoln Street Maker’s Market, a new outdoor event debuting Saturday, May 9, in the city’s growing Warehouse District.

Designed to celebrate the creativity of Texas makers and artisans, the free, public event will transform a portion of Lincoln Street — just south of Main Street — into a vibrant pedestrian marketplace filled with handcrafted goods, live music, as well as curated food and beverage offerings.

The idea for the market was brought to the chamber by Jill Elliott, owner of Blackchalk Home and Laundry, who saw an opportunity to showcase the region’s artistic talent.

“We have so many creative and talented people in the Hill Country and beyond,” Elliott said. “We wanted to create an event that highlights that creativity in a location close to Main Street, where we can capture that foot traffic while also showcasing the unique and artistic energy of the Lincoln Street Warehouse District.”

Located just off Main Street, the Warehouse District stretches along Lincoln Street and extends toward Llano and Washington streets. Home to distinctive retail shops and restaurants, the district offers a creative backdrop for the new market experience. During the event, a portion of Lincoln Street will be closed to vehicle traffic, allowing vendors to set up in the street while brick-and-mortar businesses remain open for shopping.

The chamber is currently seeking makers and artisans offering original, handcrafted or specialty products. Vendor applications are open now and must be submitted by April 20, 2026. Applications will be reviewed by the event committee. Vendors and interested participants can find full details and submit their application online here.
