FREDERICKSBURG, Texas (September 29, 2026) – The Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce has opened sales for reserved bleacher seating for the 2026 Light the Night Christmas Parade, set for Friday, Dec. 4, along Main Street in downtown Fredericksburg.

The reserved bleachers will be located on the south side of Main Street in front of the Pioneer Memorial Library, offering guests an elevated view of the parade. Seats are $40 each and are available for purchase online. Seating is limited and often sells quickly.

“If you want the best view of the parade, the bleachers are the place to be,” said Kelly Criddle, Director of Operations for the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce. “You get to watch the Red Hotts perform right in front of you before the parade starts, and then you can sit back and enjoy an unobstructed view of the entire parade.” 

The Red Hotts, Fredericksburg High School’s dance team, will perform just before the parade begins at 6:30 p.m. The parade will feature festive floats from local organizations and businesses, and a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The Light the Night Christmas Parade is produced by the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce and is the largest free community event in Gillespie County. Other than reserved bleacher seating, the parade is free and open to everyone, with all other viewing areas along Main Street available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests can also enjoy food, beverages and family-friendly activities at Marktplatz before and after the parade, along with free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus in Peppermint Platz.
